Position Summary:

The NFL Media Group is seeking a part-time Game Day Programming Assistant to help support the Digital Content & Programming team. The Game Day Programming Associate will be tasked with producing, editing & distributing video content for NFL’s Digital Platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide all 32 clubs & Syndicated Partners with compelling NFL video content
  • Associate all video content with relevant tagging & metadata to ensure all content is properly populated within various NFL Digital Platforms including club sites, NFL Mobile & NFL.com.
  • Ensure that all content is grammatically correct and factually accurate, and that writing style is consistent with NFL Digital Media’s editorial policies.
  • Quality Control all video that is clipped and distributed to ensure NFL Brand Reputation is not compromised.
  • Edit/Re-package NFL Network content to distribute on all digital platforms.
  • Edit and Distribute video content in real-time during live NFL Game Windows including single-play highlights, player highlight packages, game recaps, press conference sound & coach/player interviews.
  • Write intriguing titles, and descriptions optimized for search in a fast-paced, deadline environment

Required Education & Experience:

  • Strong written, verbal communication skills
  • Adept at writing compelling titles & captions.
  • Strong knowledge of NFL football (Teams, Players, History, Major Storylines)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Premiere Suite a plus
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Creative thinker who can identify storylines and represent them to our audience in an interesting way
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment
  • Strong knowledge in NFL both current and historical
  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism or related field preferred
  • Detail-oriented individual who executes for success
  • Must have familiarity with Digital & Social Media Platforms
  • Experience with Adobe Premiere a plus.
  • Knowledge of trending storylines in sports, news & culture.
  • Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, Holidays, and special events/instances of breaking news
  • Experience in Sports media a plus
