Position Summary:

The Manager IT has the primary responsibility to drive market requirements for Fiserv’s PrePaid technical services team and to lead a team of people that interface with clients, sales and operational teams to execute on business requirements and to consult based on subject matter expertise in the prepaid closed loop industry. This position requires daily interaction with internal teams and clients to identify and lead technical efforts and teams to execute on the functionality as defined within project requirements which will ultimately increase revenue and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identifying opportunities to streamline procedures enhance revenue and improve product efficiency.
  • Providing guidance, planning, and direction for the department.
  • Allocating resources and control expenses.
  • Communicating with other Fiserv departments to generate and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Responsible to driving complex, high priority implementations, conversions, projects or component phases of larger programs.
  • Ensuring the implementation of high-end, business-wide, products are deployed to deliver client satisfaction.
  • Insuring project methodologies, project delivery processes, and implementation management processes are followed. This includes managing and driving project schedule, risk and issue management, and scope change management.
  • Overseeing client implementations, projects and conversions for large/technical custom implementations.
  • Gathering client requirements for software development that will support the client implementation, project or conversion.
  • Coordinating incident resolution priorities.
  • Interpreting and communicating Fiserv services and Fiserv products to clients, sales, and vendors.

Required Education & Experience:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.
  • 5+ years of payment processing experience
  • Exceptional communication skills – speaking, writing, and presenting.
  • 5+ years of technical experience
  • Understanding and operational skills with Linux, Windows, Oracle (SQL) and Networking
  • 4+ years of project management experience and the ability to work independently with little management guidance
  • Demonstrates client focus and concern.
  • Proven problem-solving skills from problem assessment to solution selection.
  • Web services (SOAP and RESTful)
  • Experience developing or supporting sites using API integration and Unix/Solaris/Linux servers.
  • Strong work ethic and high energy level to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3+ years of leadership experience
  • Strong understanding of business processes and functions.
