Key Responsibilities:
- Work with team to create, review, and verify completion of WWAP, ORD’s, etc.
- Assist with the planning and facilitation of monthly team meetings.
- Shares recognized technical expertise with senior-level Field Specialists.
- Coordinates the overall work direction to personnel working on site for the unconventional asset and inspects work for compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Diagnoses malfunctions and directs necessary repairs, modifications, and calibrations of equipment used in production operations.
- Assist with interviewing and hiring of contract personnel and company personnel.
- Work as a liaison with a variety of cross-functional groups, coordinating inspections, shut-ins, shutdowns, and various other field initiatives for the unconventional asset.
- Supports the PSO in training and guidance to contract and company personnel on the appropriate work methods, equipment functions, and safe practices.
- Analyzes, plans, organizes, and coordinates daily field activities for the assets in conjunction with the other work activities in the
- Production Team. Assist in analyzing and monitoring well performance and OPEX and production goals
- Interfaces with the FE construction and battery teams for the installation, commissioning, and start-up of new facilities for the unconventional assets.
- Drives on a routine basis.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal requirements to maintain a license to operate.
- Participates in the planning and development of organizational capability needs within the Production Team to support additional asset development and growth.
Required Education & Experience:
- Demonstrated strong leadership and mentoring skills and capabilities. Clearly demonstrated Chevron Way behaviors.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Associate or Technical Degree
- 10+ years demonstrated experience in oil and gas operations, federal and local reporting requirements and all regulatory programs associated with oil and gas operations.
- Must have passed “A” assessment in their current position or equivalent
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Demonstrated strong teamwork skills and the ability to proactively work with cross-functional teams.
- Must live within 50 miles of Hobbs office
