Position Summary:
If so then we have just the role for you; we have set up a high performing technology team to drive innovation across UK Assurance by establishing a culture of innovation, developing innovative products, tools, and applications and educating our people in new technologies such as Robotic Process Automation (‘RPA’) and Artificial Intelligence (‘AI’). We need you to help us design, deliver and promote new RPA solutions and tools that will vastly improve the quality and efficiency of our audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with Assurance professionals to identify problems, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in our current audit processes, optimizing and standardizing the audit processes.
- Managing projects with cross-functional teams including UAT events and certification processes.
- Promoting RPA trainings and mentoring junior team members
- Promoting increased technology adoption, the team and their initiatives through both internal and external communications
- Scoping and designing practical solutions as the Design Authority and collaborating with the RPA developer team to deliver those solutions.
- Managing client teams and senior stakeholders’ expectation effectively
Required Education & Experience:
- Excel at managing projects through a delivery life cycle, developing a pipeline and roadmap
- Capable of designing RPA outputs following best practice
- Capable of organising a workshop with engagement teams independently, advising on resolving problems/concerns, and RPA introduction, initial RPA solution feasibility, etc
- Capable of understanding complicated business problems, coordinating feasibility studies and collaboratively designing PoCs effectively with developers
- The ability to methodically solve business and technical problems using innovative and well-planned approaches.
- Experienced with piloting solutions
- Strong passion for RPA, self-driven continuous learning, integrating people and technology
- A good understanding of the RPA operating model
- Practical knowledge of RPA development platforms, e.g. BluePrism, UiPath
- Experienced at working in audit
- Agile Scrum Methodology
- Strong logical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities
- Preferred Technical Expertise
- Baseline understanding of “low code” RPA platforms and applications
- Minimum of 6 years audit experience
- Commitment to high-quality delivery and the team success
- Good communication skills with the ability to present technical details clearly
