Position Summary:

As a member of our DHR team, you will join a talented group of professionals that help clients deliver strategic HR services. These include Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services and next generation HR Service Delivery through Globalisation, virtualisation, Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and alternative delivery models. In addition, you will sit alongside our HR technology professionals who focus on HR strategy, vendor evaluation, implementation of HR technology solutions and optimisation of existing platforms. In all of these areas, our focus is on achieving business outcomes for our clients as opposed to simply delivering a technical answer.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Manager, you will play a key role on large-scale GBS, Shared Services and Service Delivery related projects. In this role, you should be able to deliver quality client service, deliver insightful solutions and balance multiple priorities. You will also be expected to have excellent communication skills, integrate into and lead new teams, and rapidly establish relationships. More specifically, the successful candidate should demonstrate:

  • Helping clients solve complex business problems using analytical skills to provide supporting evidence and appropriate rationale
  • Management of project team(s), workstreams and workforce optimisation interventions in a broad range of industry sectors
  • Development and maintenance of detailed project plans, roadmaps, risk mitigation and governance plans, and project reporting
  • Ability to consider the broader business context and implications and not just the immediate challenge or task in hand when advising clients
  • Leading HR capability build and/or career development through re-skilling / training or job definition
  • Experience supporting clients and delivery teams with the adoption of new technology innovation
  • Bringing forward thinking insights of the market and purchasing trends, building lasting client relationships and supporting the pursuit of new business
  • Coaching and developing junior resources and peers, acting as a visible role model for our people
  • Experience managing the design, development and delivery of immersive client workshop materials and deliverables to help shape the future HR Operating Model and Service Delivery design

Required Education & Experience:

  • Be able to analyse complex problems and to deliver insightful, practical and sustainable solutions
  • Be skilled in facilitating and encouraging collaboration amongst team members
  • A proven track record working with clients utilising HR and HR Service Delivery technology solutions (e.g. case management, knowledge management, channel solutions) to transform HR service delivery and knowledge management in an HR Service Delivery / GBS environment
  • Commercial experience demonstrated through management of revenue / budgets and / or responding to client needs with compelling proposals, delivering business value in a market-competitive manner
  • Have strong personal impact and resilience, and be able to influence and persuade clients and stakeholders to gain support for major changes and key decisions
  • Ability to design, interpret and articulate a future state HR Operating model from an employee experience perspective and make credible recommendations as to how HR Service Delivery technology can support and enhance process
  • Be professional, quickly establishing personal credibility and demonstrating expertise
  • Oversight and/or leading HR Process definition / optimisation workstreams across the full employee lifecycle within the context of an HR GBS or HRSS build
  • Be confident and effective in recognising and managing potential issues during client assignments
  • Five years’ experience advising clients on the design and implementation of HR Shared Services, GBS or Outsourcing strategy, value propositions and business cases for HR Transformation programmes
