Position Summary:
Provide strategic event marketing guidance to business and marketing managers, ensuring Events deliver against business objectives and Events are benchmarked against global best practice and deliver the desired brand experience.
Formulate an in depth understanding of marketing strategies and business requirements to ensure the team effectively utilise events as a platform for the attainment of business objectives. Ensure global best practice and trends are applied in the methodology of eventing.
Required Education & Experience:
- Degree or diploma in Marketing / Event Management / Public Relations
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, successful events functions, supporting relevant business strategies.
- Experience in full event project life cycle management environment using marketing and promotion techniques.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in conferencing, incentive and events marketing and management.
- International and Africa experience would be advantageous.
