We make the best technology hardware on the planet, but our best is always a prototype for something better and our people thrive with a driven mindset – better builds on better.The Enterprise Wireless Sr Technical Sales Mgr. will be responsible for driving Samsung’s in-building / private networks / DAS type network products and solutions for a customer account. This is a direct customer facing Technical Account Manager role specifically for Wireless technology, and you will be instrumental in driving technical discussions for our customer’s in-building / private network / DAS type wireless networks in critical markets. In partnership with Samsung’s network sales team, you will work to identify technical needs so that technical solutions can be developed and positioned to drive sales revenue targets. You will be relied upon as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for 4G and 5G technology. This encompasses pre-sales, technical design and post-sales support to ensure that technical solution delivery is as per roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides expert technical support in the pre-sales process and creates compelling technical and commercial solutions in order to help achieve the assigned sales goals and business objectives
  • Educate our network customers on Samsung’s new products and services both individually and in a team environment
  • Serve as internal and external technical point of contact for solution lab trials, proof of concepts, and demonstrations
  • Takes the lead in technical Q&A for Samsung’s 4G & 5G DAS / in-building solution and software features
  • Translates and communicates complex technical design considerations between the Samsung sales team and customer’s network business (sales calls, joint network design discussions, etc.)
  • Supports business meetings initiated by Samsung’s customer Account Sales Leadership to increase existing sales and introduce new products
  • Works closely with various support organizations, logistics, and cross- functional teams from SEA and Samsung HQ to achieve successful new product roll-outs and developments
  • Works with Samsung marketing and engineering teams for product development plans, schedules, and product introductions
  • Develops deep relationships within customer’s network business at multiple levels of the technical organization and nationwide market; Establish/maintain trust and rapport as the SME for technical network solutions
  • Ensures that customer commitments are achieved according to plan
  • Create proposals based on new and existing contractual agreements

Required Education & Experience:

  • Presentations Skills: Leveraging your ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organization as well as HQ leadership on initiatives
  • 5+ years of experience hands-on experience with DAS / in-building Radio/RF planning and working with LTE and 5G in a hands-on capacity or consultative design capacity
  • Must possess the ability to analyze, interpret, and present (including presentation creation) wireless systems technical products and development materials to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master’s degree preferred (advanced engineering + MBA)
  • Must possess the ability to thrive in a highly dynamic cross-functional environment (partnership across Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Global HQ, etc.) and navigate a complex customer stakeholders and business unit
  • Technical Acumen: Subject Matter Expert in driving the technical solutions to customer through complex organizational dynamics
  • Excellence Dealing with Ambiguity: Bringing your experience in problem solving and ability to navigate complex organizations with pivotal shifts
  • 10+ total years of experience within the Wireless / Networks technology industry (Radio / RF engineering, LTE design, Wireless Network design, RF planning, etc.); 5G RF planning experience is desired, Hands on experience with Radio; knowledge / understanding of end to end network
  • 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role
