Position Summary:

Reclamation is seeking a career professional looking for an opportunity to capitalize on their expertise as a Engineering Technician. Make a difference in the West by assisting in meeting increasing water demands while protecting the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains defined standards
  • Converts hand-drawn sketches and drawings to computer-aided designs (CAD)
  • Uses and maintains specialized equipment (plotters, scanners, printers, etc.)
  • Records field modifications
  • Coordinates efforts on multiple related projects
  • Assists engineers with data collection

Required Education & Experience:

  • You must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.

  • You must be suitable for federal employment, determined by a background investigation.
  • To qualify at the GS-06, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to at least the GS-05 level in federal service. Specialized experience at this level is define as experience reading and interpreting drawings, sketches, and charts in order to create as-built drawings; and revising drawings using computer-aided design and drafting (CADD) software such as AutoCAD, and GIS.
