Position Summary:
Samsung Electronics Home Appliances is seeking qualified Engineering Technicians. In this role, you will assist the Process Engineering team with performing engineering maintenance tasks working with mechanical & electrical equipment including scanners, vision inspection software, wireless devices, cables, and spare parts. You will also uphold roles requiring hands-on work closely to production line such as troubleshooting controlling systems, verifying system quality, and setting up devices for production associates to use.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and prepare infrastructure such as scanners, QR code readers, alarm systems, cables, etc.
- Troubleshoot PCs, monitors and equipment directly tied to production line performance.
- Apply quality standards to vision inspection software to prevent process defects & market defects.
- Train area leaders & operators on device operations & tool management.
- Perform daily tasks to verify and follow-up on quality standards & rules.
Required Education & Experience:
- Associate’s Degree in Engineering or minimum 3 years of experience in quality is a manufacturing environment.
- Reporting, computer skills, problem solving
- Soldering, power tools, maintenance, electrical metric devices (multimeter, etc), excel (strongly preferred), Microsoft software (strongly preferred)
