Position Summary:
The Digital Consultant of Email Delivery is responsible for the technical creation of complex emails and lifecycle campaigns. Primary job tasks include, but are not limited to: html development and/or manipulation, content implementation, audience segmentation, testing implementation (A/B, mulitvariate), quality control, email rendering, and deployment through the email service provider (ESP). Additional responsibilities include mentoring junior Team Members, driving process improvements, and ensure email compliance with regulatory bodies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the full cycle creation of complex emails and multi-touch campaigns, including, but not limited to, html development, audience building, testing, quality control, and deployment
- Understands and drives email requirements and best practices; recognizes gaps and identifies development issues
- Works with leader to align on priorities, constructively address project work, and build personal development plans
- Tells a compelling and relevant story that conveys well thought-out recommendations; creates a point of view; collaborates effectively; presents with poise and confidence
- Solution oriented; positively impacts the environment of his or her direct team and Marketing department

- Executes on scalable solutions for long term success of the email program and proactively prepares for the future and changing industry standards
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
- Understands big picture and impacts with a focus on future state; provides solutions and recommendations for issues pertaining to email deployment, IP reputation, and advanced testing scenarios
- Is adaptable to evolving business needs and a changing environment, including email industry changes
- Makes recommendations on email best practices to drive Marketing strategy forward and follows through against promised timelines
Required Education & Experience:
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
- Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
- Working knowledge of Photoshop techniques
- Advanced knowledge of email best practices and passion to stay ahead of marketing trends in the channel
- Required: Minimum 8 years of experience with email service providers (ESPs); such as Oracle Responsys, Adobe Campaign, or Salesforce ExactTarget
- Advanced knowledge of email HTML code standards and ability to independently troubleshoot rendering issues in a wide array of configurations
- Communicates effectively by listening intently, questioning appropriately, and articulating clearly in both written and verbal formats
- Ability to understand list selection criteria and to create targeted audience files for distribution
- Required: Minimum 8 years of experience in related field (i.e., Email Marketing, Email Development, Social Media Marketing)
- Working knowledge of pre-campaign testing tools, inbox monitoring, and blacklist/reputation monitoring tools, such as Return Path
- Required: Bachelor’s degree
- Required: Minimum 8 years of experience with email testing techniques; including A/B and/or multivariate
- Other Qualifications
- Ability to assemble emails that contain dynamic content targeting
- Delivers quality work within a low-cost environment
- Handles high volumes of work with ability to prioritize effectively and hit promised timelines
- Ability to demonstrate high emotional intelligence in various situations dealing with both Customers and fellow Employees
- Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to perform work duties from limited space work station/desk/office area for extended periods of time
- Fluency with HTML editors, such as Adobe Dreamweaver
- Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
