Position Summary:
As a Graduate: Electrical Engineering, you will register at the Department of Mineral Resources and Energy (DMRE) as an Engineer in Training. You will complete your Annexure E training and exposure requirements under the supervision of Competent Engineers for you to prepare yourself to write and obtain your Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) for Electrical Engineers.
You will develop technical and operational capabilities in Electrical Engineering activities related to the business of mining and processing.
Required Education & Experience:
- Demonstrate drive, ambition, and a passion for challenging work in our operations.
- Have a BEng/BSc/BEngTech/ National Diploma in Electrical (Heavy Current) Engineering.
- Be available/willing to work in remote areas of South Africa as part of the Graduate Programme (relocation package provided depending on your role and your location).
- Have no more than two years of relevant work experience.
- Registered or in the process of completing GCC would be advantageous.
- Have completed your degree within the last 2 years or are due to graduate by December 2022.
- Be a team player with strong leadership potential.
