Required Education & Experience:

  • Knowledge of the software development process including best practices and standards used in application development
  • Knowledge of network communication protocols, such as TCP/IP, HTTP, and DNS
  • Knowledge of Information Security practices
  • Experience developing usage guides or training materials
  • Experience developing software tools that employ a database engine or interface with a database management system
  • Except where the ‘Extensive’ or ‘Significant’ qualifier is used, a minimum of one year (1) of experience is expected.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing
  • Experience performing digital forensic analysis and creating related analysis report(s)
  • Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop practical solutions
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to prepare and deliver presentations on technical subjects
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies
  • Knowledge of reverse engineering techniques
  • Recent refers to experience obtained within the last five (5) years
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally
  • Experience creating tools using scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Ruby, Powershell or Unix/Linux shell scripting
