Job Overview:

As an embedded Digital Analyst, you’ll be a valued partner helping business owners in their day-to-day decision-making and working together to better serve our customers. Every project that you work on, whether big or small, will be seen by thousands of Canadian customers in the blink of an eye. You’ll also get to collaborate with other Analysts, BI Developers, Data Scientists, engineers, and senior leaders, all as one team. From analyzing and driving key metrics, to delivering data-informed insights, you’ll be a valued partner in how we can make better decisions together for our customers.

What you’ll do:

  • Ensure we are collecting the right data by designing measurement strategies, helping translate analytics requirements and performing audits
  • Influence and partner with key stakeholders to bring in new data sources and analytics tools
  • Influence the backlog by partnering with senior leaders to estimate the value of new initiatives
  • Proactively identify and solve top opportunities for the organization to optimize conversion and revenue
  • Educate and evangelize the value of advanced analytics in the company through formal workshops, Open Houses, and presentations
  • Lead problem research, insights exploration, metrics design and data storytelling to provide actionable recommendations on business operations, product roadmaps and organization strategy
  • Validate and run A/B tests to quantify the financial and customer experience impact of new site features and optimization initiatives

What you’ll have:

  • Ability to translate data into simple takeaways and communicate effectively
  • 1+ year(s) experience working in an Agile environment; familiarity with JIRA, Confluence
  • Experience working in digital analytics with eCommerce or Retail
  • Proficiency with Python and/or R
  • Curiosity and drive to continuously learn, be it about the business and operations, or new analytical techniques
  • 3+ years of experience in digital analytics performing end to end analyses
  • Experience designing measurement plans and defining requirements
  • Expert in Adobe Analytics or other web analytics tools
  • Experience designing and analyzing A/B tests
  • Proficiency with SQL
