Position Summary:
In collaboration with VP, International Business Development, develop International Expansion Strategies (organic or inorganic) based on the market trends, customer preferences and statistical data to support effective market penetration for new international territories in line with the overall business development strategy. Provide strategic planning inputs, in-depth target segment profiles, measurement plans, performance forecasts and pro-forma financial analyses whilst reviewing business models, identifying new revenue streams and distribution channels in both retail and commercial segments in targeted international market to create value propositions as per the latest technology and market trends, ensuring alignment with the overall business growth strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the value proposition for targeted international markets, monitor and report on the implementation of the plans in cooperation with all business units.
- Identify and develop the consolidated business case for opportunities and manage due diligence in collaboration with other departments.
- Ensure the progression of business development opportunities, define detailed implementation plan, and oversee their execution in collaboration with segments and relevant resources.
- Oversee the sourcing of relevant information on target companies, in line with the corporate M&A strategy and guidelines, in order to have complete and correct information on potential M&A targets to start the analysis. o Attend meetings between ADNOC and potential target company in order to exchange relevant information
- Gather information about key indicators of M&A potential within target companies e.g. growth, competitors, market share, financial statements, organisational structure, etc.
- Review and analyse sourced data, in line with M&A process guidelines, to extract correct information and thus support the management’s decision-making process. o Perform various complex analyses.
- Attend meetings with relevant representatives of target company to address issues at hand or clarify information.
Lead the conducting of market research to identify latest market and consumer trends and develop recommendations for future strategic direction for products, services, channels and technology in targeted international markets. - Oversee market data analysis and provide insights that shape and support practical strategic initiatives in order to penetrate into international markets.
- Develop insights and strategies to measure, analyze and drive international business expansion plans.
- Create strategic actionable insight and understanding, through the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data, build objectives recommendations that directly address the business needs.
- Based on the market intelligence report provide recommendations to develop and enhance new products and services in order to exploit market opportunities.
- Provide recommendation on the margin, pricing, risk and cost management for all retail and commercial products in line with market trends and demands.
Required Education & Experience:

- 12 years of experience in related roles, including 6 years within roles of increasing managerial responsibilities within Big 4 firms or Investment Banking sector.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent.
