The Service & Reliability Cell Technician (Counting Cell Maintenance Technician) will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on the automated drug dispensing system (ADDS). The Technicians will intervene and apply the appropriate corrective measures to ensure machine stability and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot cells
  • Understand and perform drug quarantine procedures
  • Create and complete work orders as assigned
  • Perform preventive maintenance
  • Needs the ability to be able to mesh together various infrastructure components, such as servers, storage, networks, and virtualization.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by manager/supervisor
  • Investigate the causes of failures
  • Participate in Six Sigma projects and process improvement efforts
  • Execute cell testing

Required Education & Experience:

  • Excellent quality and efficiency in the current position
  • High School diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Prior to this posting, the employee must meet or exceed current department performance standards and have no verbal or written disciplinary actions
  • Previous electrical/electronic maintenance-related experience preferred.
  • Must have an excellent attendance record
  • Experience in a machine operation capacity
  • Must possess outstanding organizational skills
  • Must possess sound judgment and decision making skills Must have demonstrated attention to detail
