Position Summary:
- Ensures the priority stock or coupon items are in respective shipping lanes and follow them through
- Checks trailers to determine if sweep-out is needed and record any prior damages
- Coordinates and participates in daily maintenance checklists

Key Responsibilities:
- Schedules and coordinates daily activities of employees. Coordinates employee breaks, lunches and side tasks
- Walks depot floor to monitor employee productivity, safety and ensure smooth flow of goods in and out of the depot
- Communicates with other areas of the depot
- Provides training, encouragement, advice, and feedback to employees
- Drafts and participates in presentation of employee performance evaluations
- Ensures the depot is maintained in accordance with Depot’s safety protocols
- Monitors equipment and checks that equipment is shut off at the end of the day
- Checks facility, safety, security, cleanliness and accounts for employees in building for opening and closing shifts
- Observes employee performance and paperwork to determine that depot procedures are followed
- Experience in Sort processes and procedures
- Communicates with respective warehouses as needed
- Sets and releases dock restraints and dock plates. Opens, closes, locks and unlocks roll-up bay doors and trailer doors
- Assists other departments when necessary
Required Education & Experience:
- Strong decision making skills
- Excellent communications skills at all levels.
- Strong knowledge of WH & Safety policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work in split shift / rotating roster / Saturdays
- The selected candidate will under go a criminal history check and drug & alcohol screening
- Computer and intermediate math skills preferred.
Qualification & Experience:
- Forklift licence essential with minimum experience of 6 months
- Supervisory / Management experience preferred.
