Key Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Assistant Buyer, you will assist with the planning, forecasting and ordering of products. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Planning and forecasting sales plans and Open to Buys
  • Reviewing inventory and daily orders across multiple categories
  • Assisting the Buyer and Assistant Buyer with various merchandise projects
  • Analysis of the market and competition
  • Data entry reporting and buying system maintenance
  • Liaising with suppliers, warehouse stores and distribution centre
  • General administration duties

Required Education & Experience:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills ESSTENTIAL.
  • Strong mathematical skills ESSENTIAL.
  • Strong telephone and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Basic Microsoft PowerPoint skills desirable.
  • AS400 experience would be beneficial
  • Excellent team player

Qualification & Experience:

  • A degree in business management or in a related field is desirable.
  • Minimum of 1 year retail experience ESSENTIAL- either store operations or a stock control/replenishment position.
