Key Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Assistant Buyer, you will assist with the planning, forecasting and ordering of products. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and forecasting sales plans and Open to Buys
- Reviewing inventory and daily orders across multiple categories
- Assisting the Buyer and Assistant Buyer with various merchandise projects
- Analysis of the market and competition
- Data entry reporting and buying system maintenance
- Liaising with suppliers, warehouse stores and distribution centre
- General administration duties
Required Education & Experience:
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills ESSTENTIAL.
- Strong mathematical skills ESSENTIAL.
- Strong telephone and written communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Basic Microsoft PowerPoint skills desirable.
- AS400 experience would be beneficial
- Excellent team player
Qualification & Experience:
- A degree in business management or in a related field is desirable.
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience ESSENTIAL- either store operations or a stock control/replenishment position.
