Position Summary:
The Online and Mobile Content Manager is responsible for producing deliverables supporting the strategic marketing and business development objectives. The role will include but is not limited to managing and creating client-focused digital content for the web and mobile app to contribute to client journeys centred on enhancing and engaging user experiences. This role requires excellent communication, presentation, listening and writing skills. Strong initiative, proactivity, accountability, and persistent follow-through are also needed. Candidates should enjoy working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and should be willing to push the boundaries to deliver quality content. You will be collaborating closely with internal business stakeholders and Momentum Ix sub-teams; you will research, complete content competitor analysis, write narratives suited to the task, and edit and proofread all functions you are responsible for.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and increase brand awareness: Use Momentum’s brand positioning and tone of voice to create content appealing to the identified target market.
- Content strategy development for brand marketing campaigns: Develop a content strategy, framework and calendar that aligns with the brand’s marketing objectives.
- Competent in writing UX copy and producing microcopy that is intuitive to users, in keeping with the product’s tone of voice, and that is easily understood by the audience.
- Create powerful, persuasive content that describes our products and services so that existing and prospective clients will understand, and that helps to position Momentum as an opinion leader in its field through digital channels.
- Stay ahead of industry standards and identify trends, frequently bringing new ideas to the table.
- Edit, proofread, and ensure timely updates to the project team and internal stakeholders.
- Drive the process to obtain information that will help curate accurate and relevant content.
- Experience in applying best-practice SEO on-page standards to drive quality, organic traffic to Momentum’s website:
- Have a good grasp of using and extracting data from Google webmaster tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console etc.) to make informed decisions.
- Have a good understanding of search engine marketing and how to leverage organic search from paid advertising (CPC).
- Undertake keyword research, identify keywords, and create content based on high-volume, targeted keywords.
- Implement on-page SEO (metadata, title/s and image optimisation etc.).
- Confidently present, facilitate and have a point of view around insights.
Required Education & Experience:
- Relevant degree in UX writing, communications, journalism, or search engine marketing.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in writing, managing and maintaining web content, preferably in the financial services industry.
