Position Summary:

The successful incumbment will be responsible for implementation, support, monitoring and control of the adopted management system relational to client and DSV requirements. The incumbent will be responsible and accountable to ensure compliance throughout the supply chain in respect of formally agreed quality and service level agreement with express focus being placed of the consumer health narrative

Key Responsibilities:

  • Allocation, management and prioritizing of picking waves in line with business requirements to ensure optimal productivity and effeciancy is achieved
  • Manage all locally controlled pharmaceutical and healthcare business contractors whilst coordinating training as and when needed and required
  • Active management of priority orders to ensure order fulfilment in line with KPI’s;
  • Ensure compliance to QSHE policy and standard operating procedures as well as statutory guidance documents
  • Management of temp and humidity monitoring system.
  • Ensure all shipments withing DSV control are compliance with the current Quality, Safety, Health and Environmental Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Policy, as well as standard operating procedures to mitigate any potential risks associated with the supply chain
  • Ensure daily stock on hand alignment between DSV and client systems with immediate investigation and CAPA assignment in the event of variances whether nil picks / error percentage / KPI Requirements / other
  • Active participation in non conformance closure through appropriate implementation of remedial action to ensure robustness of adopted QMS
  • Ensure prompt issue resolution and optimal consulting and support in respect of storage, handling and transportation such to ensure deliverance of sales orders, operational demands and other
  • Review, write, train and implement procedures / proceses / workflow or other; as and when required to ensure compliance with adopted Quality Management System withing the pharmaceutical warehouse
  • Active participation in audits whether internal, client, statutory or other
  • Active participation in continuous improvement
  • Proactive engament within operational undertakings to ensure prompt escalation to relevant manager in the event of systems failure and or operational weaknesses or necessary enforcements

Required Education & Experience:

  • An understanding of quality assurance and audit processes in relation to the pharmaceutical industry and associated quality management systems,
  • Tertiary qualification advantageous
  • Logistics or SC Qualification + 3 year min experience or,
  • 3 – 5 years relevant experience in compsumer- health / healthcare / pharmaceutical industry
  • Effective working knowledge of DSV CargoWrite / RECAP/ CAPA
  • Highly Proficient in Excel for data management and reporting
  • Ability to demonstrate a proactive approach and continuously develop and improve quality and other related obligations
  • Grade 12
  • Intermediate computer literacy level in MS Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
  • An understanding of pharmaceutical production, whether large or small scale,
