As a highly engaged member of the team, you will be responsible for enabling the delivery against commercial and other relevant Customer Experience (CX) targets for TFG Rewards & Customer Hub products, by developing, articulating and implementing detailed product roadmaps to guide customer product delivery. In addition, the role focuses on maximising commercial return, by leveraging the value created through omnichannel product experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse budget forecasts throughout the year, to track extent of budgetary adherence and make adjustments.
  • Ensure customer informs the product strategy by engaging in customer insights, competitor analysis as well as internal and external market intelligence, in collaboration with the business owners.
  • Maintain and apply a broad understanding of commercial and financial growth principles to ensure decisions are fiscally sound and responsible.
  • Create revenue optimisation models to determine optimal solutions that sustain and protect revenue generation.
  • Facilitate the implementation of development processes for products with other business areas and external service providers, according to the TFG Agile deliver model and established ways of working within the Customer hub.
  • Use deductive and inductive research approaches to deliver impactful and insightful commercial reports on product performance & recommend enhancements to support business.
  • Identify expense reduction opportunities, in conjunction with the Business Insights Lead, and create plans and tracking to drive cost reduction strategies.
  • Analyse market conditions to develop evidence-based revenue optimisation strategies.
  • Develop business cases for improvements and enhancements to extend the product lifecycle of customer products and improve profitability.
  • Identify potential future commercial opportunities for products through the analysis of data and derived insights (i.e., where customer needs are not currently being met).
  • Utilise customer data, journeys, and personas to understand and tap into high-margin customer segments that are likely to be positively influenced by an expanding product offering.
  • Analyse key indicators of products’ success and assess the extent to which the service offering is commercially viable; make recommendations to enhance commercial viability.
  • Contribute to the update of existing product strategies, working closely with the customer team to manage the product lifecycle in its entirety, as well as the associated product roadmaps.
  • Distil insights of collective market, industry, and commercial environment of TFG and understand this against the impact of the customer hub offerings.
  • Maintain an understanding of drivers of commercial success, and how to position customer hub products, to strengthen competitive advantage.
  • Build business cases for the continued development of innovative offerings, by motivating for the appropriate investments.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses on the commercial performance of products to identify the fundamental cause of performance outcomes.

What you’ll have:

  • Deep Product Knowledge and/or Subject Matter Expertise in Applications and embedding these in key customer markets
  • Astute Customer Market Awareness
  • Experience in Omnichannel Product Development and Scalability.
  • 5 – 7 years of experience working in a Consumer organization
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Diploma in Finance/Accounting or related Degree in the industry that the Product serves.
  • Training in Agile delivery

  • Implicit Customer(s) Profile Understanding
  • Excellent Collaborative Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree Finance/Accounting or related Degree is an advantage
  • Demonstrated success in defining and launching products that meet and exceed business objectives
