 Job Overview:

Our Securities Services Technology team is looking for a Technology-focused Project / Relationship Manager to join the technology team managing key client projects, maintaining and building on Platinum Custody and Funds client relationships, driving an extremely professional level of Technology service.
This role will entail working with different business and technology teams across multiple locations and time zones to source and respond to client Technical requests

What you’ll do:

  • Develop and demonstrate knowledge of the underlying technology stack and supported/related business area.
  • Provide oversight, risk and issue management to external client on-boarding initiatives;
  • Assist in the preparation of Technology budget estimates for new client deals through interactions with Sales, Product, Operations and Technology.
  • Consolidate Technology material pertaining to both the Securities Services business as well as specific subjects such as Citi innovation, information security and Technology Strategy
  • Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of complicated, unique and dynamic situations; draw on diverse range of internal and external sources.
  • Work with Citi Sales, Product and other Technology units to complete Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Due Diligence for both new client deals and existing.
  • Plan and deliver multiple client onboarding/enhancement projects with a goal towards 100% on-time on-budget delivery
  • Work with Client Executives and Account Managers to provide clients with Technology support whether it be presentation or assistance in driving their Technology requirements within the bank.
  • Ensure that responsibilities have detailed IT work plans, schedules and status reports.
  • Influence and negotiate with peers (across functions); works closely within the team to meet client needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners across Technology, Operations and Product divisions
  • Manage stakeholders and take administrative responsibility, adhering to Citi best practice and regulatory requirements.

What you’ll have:

  • Experience of working with clients and managing client expectations with a significant amount of uncertainty
  • Degree-educated; either in a financial discipline or else IT
  • Self-driven, acts with an extreme sense of urgency and passionate about delivering
  • Manage through complexity and dependency
  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree.
  • Technical background – able to come up to speed and understand differing technologies quickly
  • Experience of Funds Servicing businesses is preferable, particularly within multiple local APAC markets
  • Strong listening, presentation, communication, and influencing skills
  • 10 years’ experience working within Technology, Operations or Client-facing activities.
  • Strong attention to detail in management reporting
  • PMP/PgMP, Prince 2 or similar formal project management certification would be useful
  • Meticulous planner with a tremendous attention to detail
  • 3+ years financial services experience, preferably in Securities Services.
  • Experience managing technology and client delivery projects
  • Experience in delivering on complex technical issues involving multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to work through influence across all levels of the organization
