What you’ll do:

  • Builds and maintains templates, rules, style sheets, workflows, data extractions and imports, interfaces, and object models.
  • Supports the identification of objects and data elements to be managed, specifies the policies and business rules for how master data is created and maintained, describing hierarchies, taxonomies, or other relationships important to organizing or classifying objects, and assigns data-stewardship responsibility to individuals and organizations
  • Identifies areas for data quality improvements and helps to resolve problems through the appropriate choice of error detection and correction, process control / process design improvement a strategies
  • Develop, implement, and maintain Master Data Management (MDM) components and integrations that align with the data strategy and MDM domain implementation roadmap.
  • Assists in the development and definition of test plans and scripts for performance, regression, and user acceptance test plans; support QA activities as required.
  • Write, review, and approve technical specifications to ensure alignment with customer requirements, overall company policy and architectural standards
  • Monitor the performance, health, and currency of the MDM platform.
  • Liaise throughout project lifecycle with relevant project stakeholders to define final solution design before deployment

What you’ll have:

  • 5 years work experience in a Retail delivery environment
  • STIBO STEP 10. X knowledge strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience in developing positive employee relations
  • Strong communication skills.
  • STIBO certification is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated priority and resource management skills in a fast-paced agile environment
  • Strong analytical skills and proactive problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with client groups and stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and schedule work effectively
  • Customer focus and results orientation to provide customer value
  • 3+ years of STIBO STEP systems configuration, development experience – attribute creation, business rule creation, portal development, integration endpoint configuration and workflow creation.
  • Comfortable in dealing with individuals at all levels of the organization
  • Expert technical skills in software development (Java and/or JavaScript), data and database design, SQL, XML, Linux and Web services.
  • Post Secondary school education in Computer Science
