Job Overview:

The Engineering Analyst is responsible for distilling consumer product quality expectations that meet or exceed our target market, translate them into product testing requirements that will drive enhanced quality products, improved customer product experience and satisfaction.

What you’ll do:

  • Reviewing after sales service reports to feedback into the testing criteria and report learnings to vendors and merchants
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Branding teams on new Owned Brand product launches
  • Responsible for the creation, monitoring, revising, and communication of the Testing Criteria; collaborate with Merchandising & Branding teams to ensure testing criteria and test plans align to brand and consumer expectations.
  • Evaluate product Bill Of Materials, specifications, and change request documents from vendors
  • Determine the acceptability of product quality through product evaluations, consumer usage testing, and competitive benchmarking; Recommend concepts for product improvement or product dismissals to the Product Quality Manager, merchants, vendors, and other internal stakeholders
  • Review online customer reviews, taking necessary follow up actions; coordinating product investigations with stores and vendors
  • Conduct product complaint investigations, responsible for vendor follow ups, and supporting of product incident review meetings
  • Create and maintain product specification documents for each product in their assigned categories

What you’ll have:

  • Proven technical acumen demonstrated within a manufacturing, quality or consumer products environment
  • University degree in a related discipline
  • 2+ years experience in quality assurance, product development, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, material science engineering, automotive engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field
