Position Summary:
The main purpose of this role is to sign new business for the KZN branch and meet monthly and annual new business targets set.
To record all client meetings on company CRM.
To meet KPI’s as set by business
Key Responsibilities:
- Competitor and industry analysis
- Ensure that required deadlines are met.
- Professional; organized and target driven.
- Updating our CRM system on a daily and weekly basis.
- Assist in tender / proposal production and delivery thereof
- Prospect for new business and develop a qualified pipeline of leads and convert to actual billing.
- Report to Regional Sales Manager
- Analysis of sales related information and ability to translate the information to show benefits to client and company
- To be well-presented and well spoken.
- Ensuring that required call rates are met as part of your KPI’s
- Ensure that sustainable clients are brought on board.
- Represent the DSV brand
- Managing clients’ DSO’s
- Respectful, good problem-solving skills and client centric.
- Maintaining client contractual data
Required Education & Experience:
- Strong administrative skills with high attention to detail
- Good understanding of industry supply chains
- Proven track record of meeting targets
- Experience in prospecting for new business & managing a qualified new business pipeline
- Excel Pivot tables and good level of Excel and reporting tools with knowledge of formulas
- Good Presentation skills
- Valid unendorsed drivers license and own vehicle
- Experience in achieving new business targets set
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Previous sales experience in industry
- Strong new business development skills
- Recommended of 3 years’ experience in the supply chain environment or 3 – 5 years’ experience in a Sales role in the industry.
