Position Summary:
Guides and supports the Business teams through the data process to ensure that the migration process delivers quality and functionally relevant data to enable our new processes and solutions
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops a deep understanding of the Functional Design and the data requirements
- Responsible for running the Data Stand up with the Business and coordinating the delivery of Data activities
- Responsible for validating the Data quality thru checkpoints and Sprint reviews
- Responsible to for the Business Data element of the Technical Cutover and Data Migration Plans through collaboration with the Technical Cutover leads and the wider Data Team
- Acts as a Subject matter expert for Data Requirements to guide and support the Business teams in the Data Cleansing and Enrichment process from start-up to migration and to close residual issues in the hypercare period
- Responsible to communicate and manage against and maintain the Business Data Sprint Plan updating, managing, and communicating any changes to all key stakeholders, actions owners and SPOCs
- Responsible for supporting and briefing the Business Data SME and Data Cleansers in understanding the Data requirements for Migration, functional use of the Data in order to manage and apply best practices to data cleansing and enrichment
- Responsible for identifying Business facing Lessons Learnt from each Sprint and Data Migration to be rolled into actionable change
- Responsible for providing updates to the Data BPO/Data Gov Board as to status and recommendations for actions to meet key milestones and quality requirements
- Responsible for developing the detailed Business Data migration plan in conjunction with the Project Manager, Technical teams, and Data Team
- Responsible for ensuring that the plans will deliver data of sufficient quality, correct structure, and with relevant enrichment to support the migration of Brands or Functions from Legacy to New World
- Collaborates with Legacy IT teams to identify issues and proposed actions to improve the Data quality at the source
- Responsible to identify risks and issues, propose mitigating actions, and escalate as needed
- Manages the Business Data SMEs and Data Cleansers to deliver against the plan
Required Education & Experience:
- Able to communicate in a way that builds trust and confidence amongst peers and business end-users
- Demonstrates attention to detail and precision in task identification and execution
- Can demonstrate having participated in or led a team adopting new processes
- Experience in executing task against critical paths and deadlines, managing priorities and deadlines
- Knowledge or Oracle MOM suite and/or BY Supply Chain/SCPO/RPO suites an advantage
- A good commercial understanding of business IT systems and interdependencies as well as Master Data Management and Transactional data
- (Ideally) coming from the Business/commercial teams with experience relevant to the Portfolio they will support or a Data Management background in IT in a similar solutions landscape
- A strong communicator, able to clearly communicate what is required and manage challenges and queries
- A customer-first approach, confident and experienced in interacting in a multi-functional / multi-discipline environment
- Demonstrate a clear approach to prioritisation and knowing when to escalate queries for support or decision making
- Demonstrable ability and experience of working in and acting in a lead role in a matrix structure, upwards, across, and downwards
- Demonstrable interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams and collaborate, acting as a lead in a wider cross-functional team
- Experience in working and/or leading in cross-functional teams
- Demonstrates a genuine passion and enthusiasm for the role that Data management plays in the successful functional and technical delivery of Transformation programmes
- Currently operating at a supervisory level used to directing or leading teams in task and activity (directly or indirectly)
