Primarily responsible for conceptualizing & designing solutions for the team:
Software – automation guidance, E2E process design, function diagrams; from basic excel-based forms, complex Excel based applications, MS Access Based Applications, .NET Applications (Windows & Web )
Hardware & networking – high level comprehension of windows server structure, networking and interoperability including PROD & DEV zones.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform root cause analysis for issues and provide effective and timely resolution
Research and evaluate alternative solutions; recommends and develops the most efficient and cost effective technical solutions in collaboration with developer team
Define, understand and recommend changes to the existing software and application environment in tandem with the current business needs and direction
Management of an average of 10 active projects, their priorities and coordination between POCs, SMEs & Development Team
Adhere to Software Development Practices, Corporate IT Software & Security standards, etc.
Scope also includes E2E diagrams, guidance & help for POCs
Coordinate release schedule, align work to sprints and communicate progress and completion of work.
Interact with various matrix partners and team members to ensure applications are fulfilling user requirements, are efficiently designed & are easy to support and maintain
Apply technical processes to solve complex problems; Daily Practice for meetings with SMEs, Business Users @ all levels
Work closely with the testing and requirement gathering processes and people to ensure a feedback/quality loop is in place with open collaboration
Interface with IT Solutions Engineers & Partners to ensure our software and database architecture is optimally configured & programmed
Contribute to development, support of development and drive work to completion of on-time commitments
Work directly with business areas to define business requirements and translate those requirements into conceptual and logical data models, and user-interfaces
Management of Software Development Team
Management of maintaining & handling issues with existing software, ~ 40 products, that are in Production
Required Education & Experience:
Experience with Teradata SQL Assistant, BiQuery, etc.
Proficient in SQL, ability to manipulate queries to retrieve custom reports from various databases
Experience managing remote development team preferred
.NET and RPA
Preferred: Excel Data Analysis, Cleaning, Manipulation, Excel VBA, MS Access
