Position Summary:

Stockroom support for an FAA helicopter operation and maintenance organization. This position is responsible for coordinating the movement of parts, materials and equipment relating to the aviation stockroom, and procurement operations specific to aviation and aircraft maintenance. Working knowledge of WinAir aircraft maintenance and inventory software preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compliance with all Chevron best practices regarding safety to include PPE and Human Factors
  • Participation in daily toolbox meetings and weekly look-forward meetings to determine scheduled and unscheduled priorities
  • Coordinating with maintenance team, service providers and suppliers for daily and after-hours AOG support
  • Arranging base to base transfers, to include coordination with FedEx, UPS and ‘hot-shot’ vendors
  • Pulling parts and materials from the warehouses for maintenance personnel on an as needed basis
  • Receiving parts and materials frequently throughout the work day
  • Ordering, planning, shipping, storing and stocking shelves. Tracking shelf life limits and expiration dates
  • Review of incoming parts and material documentation for accuracy and completeness before presenting to inspection department
  • Managing the min/max levels of critical spares for a fleet of three different aircraft types
  • Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, basic hand and power tools
  • Participating in inventory counts periodically throughout the year
  • Tracking company vehicles (signing them in and out)
  • Maintaining the stockrooms and associated warehouses in a neat and orderly fashion

Required Education & Experience:

  • Experience with Air Maestro Operations and Safety Aviation Management software
  • Experience with WinAir Aviation Maintenance and Inventory Program
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience or training on the handling of Dangerous Goods
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Three or more years’ experience providing logistics support for an aircraft maintenance and operations organization
