Position Summary:

As a AV Technician you will be responsible for the FM AV operational service delivery within the Corporate Office / Non-Trading estate based in Holborn, whilst supporting Sainsburys Group Portfolio and any events within Sainsburys Business. Ensuring you support and deliver excellent service, smooth running events from internal to external events. You’ll actively monitor and manage the service delivery of these events, ensuring the set up and planning is worked through to execution, whilst supporting stakeholders where applicable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Contract Managers and your line manager to offer operational and analytical support to improve and enhance service delivery.
  • Responsible for maintaining the resilience of the equipment, while working with third party suppliers
  • To review how we make this a income by reviewing utilisation, market insight and how we drive external events and promote internal events more
  • Responsible to support your line manager in relation to sub tenants or landlords where AV and or events are required
  • Accountable for managing the risk if there are any issues in supporting an AV event.
  • Ensuring we are delivering to the highest standard within the market where possible, understanding and reviewing the market to keep us leading in this area.
  • Identify root cause trends and priorities within the worst performing asset categories across your remit, whether that be assets or fabric of the auditorium.
  • Working OOH if required to support the business on delivery of such events
  • Take the operational lead in the event of a major FM incidents affecting trade that needs instant response and management to resolve in line to support your line manager
  • Responsible for ensuring FM tasks are completed and aged work orders are proactively managed to closure relating to the auditorium / AV across the group portfolio
  • Managing and influencing our FM contractor base on a day-to-day basis, ensuring service level adherence and quality assurance of work completed.
  • Responsible for building relationships with Holborn stakeholders whilst working cross functionally, using insight, knowledge, data, and root cause analysis to create pro-active solutions to mitigate issues before they become problems for colleagues and customers in Holborn relating to AV
  • Responsible for ensuring Holborn’s AV equipment & auditorium are kept in good working order to deliver the business needs

Required Education & Experience:

  • Experience working with multiple service providers and able to work with cross functional teams, including virtually
  • Significant experience in stakeholder management, with ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders at a C6 Level
  • Strong AV background with the ability to take the lead with major FM AV escalations
  • Good judgement that can spot trends and issues in order to understand the scale and impact the issues could be having across the Sainsbury’s estate
  • Looks for ways to improve the service to the Holborn in your remit while being cost conscious through effective planning
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and oral)
