Position Summary:

The Agile Product Management Advisor serves as the internal voice of the customer. Defines system features and participates in validation. Responsible for the scope of work that the Agile Release Train (ART) will complete, and the vision and roadmap for the Agile Release Train (ART). Must be aware of other work being completed within the Portfolio so that they can help teams proactively manage risks and dependencies. The incumbent provides expert content/professional leadership on complex assignments/projects. Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives. Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders. Focuses on providing thought leadership but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly and quarterly metrics to support operational value of product
  • Decision making authority: Final arbiter of intake requirements and delivery acceptance criteria
  • Accountable for the release of new capability or product with benefit validation
  • Work with TPO to answer questions and provide guidance to agile team
  • Evaluates initial approach and refinement before full product release
  • Leverages agile approach to building a product by iterating and adjusting with new insights and Ideas
  • Establish success criteria and measures progress/value delivered
  • Identify the organizational readiness/Change Management needs
  • Accountable for business product health and ongoing enhancements
  • Works with the TPO, scrum team leads and the business capability leads to maximize value from the delivery of the prioritized user stories.
  • Work with IT Product Owners and other Business Product Owners on backlog prioritization across business products

Required Education & Experience:

  • Associated/ Bachelor’s degree or work experience
  • Knowledge of user experience and solution design essential
  • Experience writing user stories
  • High degree of comfort in a faced paced dynamic/ ambiguous environment
  • Passionate stakeholder advocate with ability to identify and meet customer needs within agile framework
  • Ability to balance technical knowledge with business acumen
  • Ability to work cross functionally with compliance, IRM, Infrastructure, and Software Engineering
